Stages of cooperation
1992

Signing of the Franco-German governmental agreement (La Rochelle summit) on fast rail links between southern Germany (Frankfurt / Stuttgart / Munich) and Paris.

2000   The founding of the Rhealys S.A. project compagny firm.

2001   Refurbishment of a number of stations in Germany (for example Kaiserslautern) and launch of infrastructure work in Germany (line up-grading for the speed of 200 km/hour on certain sections of the conventional line between Sarrebrucken and Mannheim).

2002   Launch of construction work for the high-speed line (320 km/hour) in France.
Franco-Luxembourg governmental agreement concerning the realisation of the TGV EST.


2003   Launch of work to renovate all stations in France on the East European TGV line, particularly Paris Est and Strasbourg stations.

2004   Refurbishment of Sarrebrucken "Eurobahnhof" station.
End of the 2nd stage of work at Basel station.

2006   Technical installations in Luxembourg.

2007   Launch of the new high-speed and cross-border train product .
